What an experience! I could not be happier with every step of the wedding dress process at Elizabeth Johns. Let's go through it:
SALES: Marina was INCREDIBLE. I told her my budget and my vision and she found the perfect dress that checked every box on the first pull. I am a very indecisive person and couldn't wrap my head around the first dress that I tried on being THE DRESS. She gave me the assurance and peace of mind I needed for this type of purchase. Not pushy, just realistic, which was exactly what I needed. Additionally, all pricing was up front, including tailoring. While I didn't end up purchasing a veil here, she was very helpful in helping me through that process as well.
FITTING/TAILORING: Molly was also INCREDIBLE. I didn't want a strapless dress because I am a busty girl who likes to dance, so ordered my dress with a strap addition. When it came, I didn't end up liking the look. Molly used excess materials from shortening the dress to make me removable off the shoulder straps. They were perfect. I had to purchase a gigantic size because of said bust, and she tailored it to me so perfectly I didn't even need straps. I danced the night away in a strapless dress without a care in the world.
OVERALL: I have a difficult body for formal dresses and end up getting frustrated or upset trying on dresses. I wanted a dress that allowed people to focus on me, not my gigantic bust, without being conservative. When looking at dresses online I never thought I could find something that would work without extensive tailoring and alterations. The team here just nailed it. I felt beautiful, happy and calm through the entire process. Could not recommend more.

Had the absolute best experience with Samantha a few weeks ago picking out my dress. From start to finish I felt a level of attention and care that I wouldn’t have even known to expect since this was my first place looking for a dress. From the email Samantha sent the night before offering helpful tips for shopping and asking questions to help personalize my experience, to the warm welcome when we walked in the door, to picking dresses and helping me with each try on, to the genuine excitement for me and my family when I found “the one,” and finally, to the handwritten note I received in the mail thanking me for choosing EJ’s and reiterating the excitement about my dress - just an absolutely wonderful experience that makes me wish I could casually stop in and shop here. I ended up canceling a second appointment after I found my dress that resulted in me losing a $100 deposit and EJ’s even helped offset that from the cost of my dress. Just above and beyond exceptional service, care, and attention. Couldn’t recommend more!

Wow! This was by far the best place my daughter and I found to shop for prom dresses. Every dress was gorgeous, and the personal attention my daughter received from Linda was exceptional! Linda truly has a remarkable talent for selecting dresses that perfectly flatter each individual, and she genuinely took the time to understand what my daughter was looking for. We visited numerous other shops with attentive staff, but nothing compared to the level of personal attention we experienced at Elizabeth Johns! Linda excels at her role, and are incredibly thankful for her assistance!
